[Product information]

  In vitro Pin-point Fluorescence Labeling Kit 543 is composed of two units; Labeling unit and Purification unit.

Labeling unit : This unit includes reagents for pin-point TAMRA labeling. Pin-point TAMRA labeled protein will be produced by using this unit with in vitro E.coli translation system in common use. The fluorescent dye, TAMRA, is suitable for Single Molecule Fluorescence Detection System MF20 (Olympus Co.,Ltd.) using 543nm laser.

Purification unit : This unit is possible to purify and concentrate the proteins labeled with TAMRA .

  Production of positive control CAT (Chloramphenicol acetyltransferase): One mg of pin-point TAMRA labeled CAT will be prepared by this kit at 300 µl reaction. This amount of pin-point TAMRA labeled CAT suffices to 384 samples for multi-well analysis using Single Molecule Fluorescence Detection System MF20.

Pin-point protein labeling is performed by expanded four base codon technology.

  Pin-point labeling is able to label at only one position. In minimization of labeling effect on protein activity and structure etc., our method has advantages over other methods (e.g., chemical labeling and GFP fusion).
Pin-point labeled protein will be useful for Single Molecule Fluorescence Detection System.
